D-backs Dominate Early for a Stellar Win! 
Oh, what a game! The Arizona Diamondbacks took on the Washington Nationals and clinched a triumphant 3-1 victory. The game started with a bang for the D-backs in the bottom of the 1st inning. Ketel Marte set the tone by singling to left. Then, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. doubled to right, bringing home Marte for the first score, putting us on the board 1-0. But the real fireworks came when Eugenio Suárez smashed a homer to center, taking Gurriel Jr. along for the ride, making it 3-0. That was a moonshot at 466 feet! 
Steady Defense Maintains the Momentum 
Our pitchers were lights out! Corbin Burnes and crew masterfully kept the Nationals at bay, ensuring our early lead held strong. Though Washington rallied in the 5th with Nathaniel Lowe’s RBI single scoring CJ Abrams, it wasn’t enough to swing momentum their way. Our bullpen, with relief pitching from Jalen Beeks, Luis Mena, Brandon Miller, and Alec Martinez in the later innings, held their ground superbly. 
Locked Down Late for the Win 
As we headed into the latter innings, our D-backs stayed composed. Corbin Carroll played a vital role in right field. Our defense remained sharp, and the crisp pitching transitions ensured no further scoring from the Nationals. Martinez closed out the game with a clean 9th inning, and it was all over. The Diamondbacks showed heart, hustle, and flair – nothing better than a W for the home team! Can't wait for the next game! Go D-backs!
