The game ignited with a bit of a rocky start for the Diamondbacks as Hassell III brought in two runs for the Nationals in the first inning, leaving us trailing early. But the likes of Corbin Carroll, Geraldo Perdomo, and Eugenio Suárez lit up the bottom of the first, giving us a 4 to 2 lead with a fantastic offensive display. It was a burst of energy that had us cheering!
Fierce Comeback and Tense Middle Innings
The Nationals hit back in the third inning, grabbing a lead with a three-run homer from Josh Bell.
