What a game, Braves fans! Our Atlanta Braves pulled off an exhilarating win against the Washington Nationals, wrapping it up in style with a nail-biting 4-3 final score in our favor. The atmosphere at Truist Park was electric and it's a great day to be a Braves fan! The Braves didn't waste any time getting on the scoreboard in the 3rd inning. After a quiet start, Austin Riley walked and Matt Olson backed him up with a single. Marcell Ozuna came to the rescue, sending Riley home with a single to left, and then Michael Harris II made sure Olson crossed the plate too. The Braves took a comfortable 2-0 lead. Not to be overshadowed, Ozuna shouted his presence again in the 5th with an enormous home run to left center that was a monstrous 464 feet. We all know the Braves love keeping the suspense alive, and the Nationals tried to spoil our party in the 9th inning. After a series of tense plays and a couple of lucky breaks for the Nationals, the game was tied at 3-3. However, Eli White wasn't about to let that phase him. After a single to right put him on base, Nick Allen smartly bunted to advance him. Stepping up in the clutch, Alex Verdugo sent a clean single to center to bring White home and secured the win. The crowd erupted in cheers and high fives were flying everywhere.Overall, it was a night of strong pitching, clutch hits, and admirable teamwork.
