Nationals' Early Advantage

What a rollercoaster of a game, Nationals fans! 🎢 Starting off strong, the Nats capitalized on some key errors by the Rockies in the second inning. Dylan Crews kicked things off by reaching on an infield single, followed by Riley Adams with a single to right, leading to our first score due to a throwing blunder by the Rockies' catcher. Nasim Nuñez hit into a fielder's choice, but the continued mishaps by the Rockies' defense allowed us to bring in two more runs, wrapping up the inning at a commendable 3-0. 🥳

Rockies Fight Back

Give credit where it's due; the Rockies didn't roll over. In the bottom of the 3rd, Zac Veen got them on the board with a solo homer to right field. And let's not forget Braxton Fulford in the 6th, who launched another solo shot, making the game all the more nail-biting! 🏟️ Both teams fought hard, with our defense staying vigilant to keep the Rockies at bay, maintaining a slim 3-2 lead.

Closing It Out

With nerves running high in the 9th inning, our bullpen didn't disappoint. Kyle Finnegan stood firm despite some tense moments and secured the final outs to clinch the victory for the Nationals. With intense plays and solid pitching throughout, this game truly showcased the resilience and skill of our Nats lineup. Here's to more exciting wins! 🚀⚾
