Dominant Performance by the Astros
What a fantastic game at home for our Houston Astros as they crushed the Washington Nationals with a final score of 9-1! From the get-go, our boys showed exactly why we love them, with a lineup that delivered both offensively and defensively. It was an incredible night, especially for our star second baseman! 
Game-Changing Plays
Jose Altuve was nothing short of spectacular! He went 4-for-4 and was involved in every run-scoring play, reminding us why he’s an invaluable asset to our lineup. His three-run homer in the second inning gave us a comfortable lead and set the tone for the game. Not to be outdone, Yainer Diaz also launched a three-run bomb in the sixth, sealing the Nationals’ fate. And let's not forget Cooper Hummel, who chipped in with a two-run homer of his own!
Lights Out Pitching
On the mound, our pitching staff was on fire! Keeping the Nationals in check, they allowed only one run. Our defense and pitching truly excelled, turning key double plays and striking out batters when it mattered most. The switch to our bullpen was seamless, with Neris, Okert, and Contreras showing no mercy to the visiting team's lineup.
