In the top of the 2nd inning, we got on the board first thanks to a powerful homer by Dylan Crews to left center (404 feet). That solo shot set the tone for the rest of the game.Building Momentum
Heading into the 4th inning, Luis García Jr. managed to score on a passed ball, extending our lead to 2-0. Trust Crews to come up big again in the 6th inning with a clutch double to left, bringing Jose Tena home and pushing our lead to 4-0. What a moment!Pirates Fight Back
Although our boys were rolling, the Pirates found a way to fight back in the 7th inning. Rowdy Tellez hit a 443-feet homer to right, bringing in Nick Gonzales and narrowing the gap to 4-2. Nerve-wracking moments ensued.Insurance Run
Fortunately, the Nationals weren't done. In the top of the 9th inning, CJ Abrams hit a critical sacrifice fly to center, allowing Crews to score. That insurance run brought our lead to a comfortable 5-2.Closing It Out
The bottom of the 9th was intense. The Pirates managed to score a run and load the bases; however, our closer Kyle Finnegan stepped up when it mattered most. Bryan De La Cruz grounded into a game-ending double play, securing our victory. Phew!Final Thoughts
