A Strong Start with a Solo Homer!

The Arizona Diamondbacks kicked off the game with a bang thanks to Ketel Marte! After Geraldo Perdomo lined out, Marte delivered a powerful solo homer to right center, putting us on the board immediately. It set the tone for our boys, although the rest of the 1st inning didn’t see more runs, with Pavin Smith and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. unable to reach base. Still, a great way to announce our presence! 
A Tight Pitching Battle 
Throughout the game, strong pitching from our side kept the White Sox at bay. Robert Jr. managed to even the score with a homer in the 2nd inning, giving us a tense 1-1 tie. Nelson, our initial pitcher, kept his composure striking out multiple Sox players and showed excellent control through the innings with support from relief pitchers. Kudos to Backhus and Thompson for stepping in and keeping the scoreboard in our favor. 
Diamondbacks Take Control in the 7th! 
Everything changed in the 7th inning when the Diamondbacks seized control. Randal Grichuk got us going with a crucial single, followed by Tim Tawa reaching on an error, setting up a perfect run-scoring opportunity. Alek Thomas capitalized by singling to score Grichuk and add another run when he sprinted home thanks to Jose Herrera’s sacrifice fly. Perdomo then drove in the final run with a clutch single, making it 4-1 for the D-backs! It was a moment that turned the tide and ensured we maintained the lead until the end. 
Overall, a gratifying game for the Arizona Diamondbacks and our fans! We celebrated a 4-1 victory, with Ketel Marte’s heroics and a pivotal 7th inning rally securing this win. There's nothing sweeter than watching our team perform with such grit and determination! Let's keep rolling, D-backs!
