Diamondbacks Dominate the Angels
What an exciting game for us as the Arizona Diamondbacks took down the Los Angeles Angels with a solid 5-1 victory!
From the beginning, it was evident that our team was determined to grab the win, and boy, did they deliver! A Tight Start and a Big Fourth Inning
To begin, it was a bit slow-paced with both teams scoreless as Corbin Carroll struck out swinging and Jake McCarthy grounded out. But our patience paid off in the fourth inning when the Diamondbacks struck gold. Geraldo Perdomo walked, and Josh Naylor singled to keep the momentum going. The highlight of the inning? Eugenio Suárez capitalizing on an error to get Perdomo home, kickstarting a three-run rally!
Blaze Alexander and Jose Herrera were critical with their clutch hits. Alexander's double drove in another run, and Herrera followed with a two-run double, widening our lead to 4-1. It was an inning to remember, as our D-backs showed strength and unity.
Sealing the Victory
In the fifth inning, Eugenio Suárez kept the pressure on, doubling to right and bringing Perdomo in to extend our lead to 5-1. It was fantastic to watch our team play with such precision and energy.
️From there, every inning was a triumph for Diamondbacks pitching, silencing the Angels' bats. Curtiss, Ginkel, and Graveman came out strong, working together seamlessly to keep the Angels at bay and seal our well-deserved win.
