Victory in Milwaukee!
What a day to be an Arizona Diamondbacks fan! With our boys pushing through to secure a 6-4 win against the Milwaukee Brewers, we can proudly say our team showed true grit and determination. Although the game started with a bang from the Brewers, courtesy of Sal Frelick's early homer, our D-Backs quickly found their footing.Second Inning Comeback
We witnessed a powerful comeback beginning in the top of the 2nd inning. Key plays from our squad like Lourdes Gurriel Jr.'s single, followed by Gabriel Moreno's hit, set the stage. Special mention to Tyler Locklear for taking one for the team and getting hit, leading Gurriel Jr. to score our first run. Ildemaro Vargas's timely single allowed both Alexander and Moreno to score, giving us a solid 3-1 lead! Maintaining the Edge
The third inning was another game-changer. With Corbin Carroll showcasing his baserunning skills by stealing second and eventually scoring thanks to a play by Locklear, and a clutch single from Alek Thomas driving in two more runs, the Diamondbacks held solid at 6-2 by the end of the third. The Brewers managed to claw back two runs, but that was the last time they saw home plate!Defensive Mastery
From there, our defense and pitching crew held the Brewers at bay through a full game of tactical, disciplined baseball. Shout-out to our effective rotation and strong defense, especially with Blaze Alexander's infield plays. It was a display of resilience and teamwork. The team effort and spirit gave our boys the critical edge needed against a strong Brewers lineup. It's a joyous moment for D-Backs fans everywhere, and tonight, we've got reason to celebrate!
