The start was rough, with the Diamondbacks taking an early lead from Locklear's and Carroll's homers, pushing the score to 5-0 by the third inning. Thankfully, our Rangers bats started firing thanks to a beautiful double by Josh Jung and a clutch hit from Corey Seager scoring Jung, marking our first point on the board! A breathtaking three-run homer by Wyatt Langford in the sixth, which soared 410 feet, brought us closer at 5-6. Talk about keeping it exciting!
Seizing the Victory
Heading into the bottom of the ninth, the tension was palpable with us trailing by one. Rowdy Tellez ignited the crowd by smacking a monster homer, sending chills through the stadium and leveling the score. The stage was perfectly set in the tenth: after Sam Haggerty found his way to third and Corey Seager reached third. In a move that will be remembered, Jake Burger came in as a pinch hitter and delivered the game-winning single to left field, bringing Haggerty home. Victory!
