A Tense Start
The Rangers drew first blood in the 1st inning with Evan Carter's single that brought Josh Smith home. For a while, the game seemed locked in a tight battle, with our bats struggling to break through. Our guys had some tough early innings, with strikeouts and groundouts, leaving us trailing 3-1 by the 4th inning after the Rangers extended their lead with a homer by Jake Burger.Building Momentum
In the 5th inning, things started looking up with Geraldo Perdomo blasting a solo homer to tighten the score to 3-2. Things got a bit tense when Ketel Marte showed off his defensive skills despite a few errors on the field. But by holding the Rangers with strong pitching performances from our bullpen, we kept the score within reach.Ninth Inning Heroics
The 9th inning brought the magic! With James McCann smashing a solo home run, we closed the gap even more. The real fireworks came with Ketel Marte knocking a tremendous 3-run homer out of the park, bringing Blaze Alexander and Perdomo home. This dazzling display of offense turned the tables and sent us ahead with a 6-4 lead.
