Braves Start Strong but Miss Early Opportunities

Diamondbacks Take Control
Despite our early momentum, the Arizona Diamondbacks took advantage by scoring first. Corbin Carroll tripled and later scored on a ground-out by Geraldo Perdomo. The second inning saw a sacrifice fly from Lourdes Gurriel Jr. that brought in another run. Although we managed to slow down their offense for a bit, a solo homer from Perdomo in the 5th inning extended their lead to 4-1.
Rally Attempts and Heartbreak
Our Braves showed resilience in the 7th inning! A rally brought us closer with two runs added, narrowing the score to 4-3, thanks to some aggressive base running and a clutch hit by Verdugo.
Conclusion
It was a tough loss for the Braves, but there were highlights worth mentioning—Verdugo's consistent hits and Ozuna's late-game flashes. Despite the defeat, we're proud of our team's fighting spirit. We'll take these lessons to bounce back stronger in our next outing. Go Braves!
