Braves Bats Come Alive Early

What a game, Braves fans! 🎉 We kicked off with a bit of a rocky start in the first inning where it seemed like the Red Sox had our lineup all figured out, with Eli White, Austin Riley, and Marcell Ozuna all going down swinging. But the top of the second inning was all about power, as Matt Olson and Sean Murphy both launched solo homers to left center, with Olson's traveling 378 feet and Murphy's not far behind at 384 feet! 💥 That gave us an early 2-0 lead, setting the tone for the rest of the game.

Defense Holds Strong

Our defense was on point today, keeping the Red Sox scoreless through the first six innings. Nick Allen had a smooth single to start the third, and although we had some base running hiccups, the team held Boston off the scoreboard. Michael Harris II was diving all over the outfield, keeping hitters like Jarren Duran and Ceddanne Rafaela in check, especially when it came to crucial situations with runners in scoring position.

Thrilling Ninth Inning & Closing It Down

Heading into the ninth, we still stood firm at 2-1. That's when things got intense! With Ozuna getting on base with a walk, the momentum shifted. Pinch runner Luke Williams made the most of his opportunity, eventually scoring on a walk after a strategic series of moves that brought in runs. Ozzie Albies and Stuart Fairchild took care of business with timely walks that delivered more insurance runs, stretching the lead to 4-1. Despite the Red Sox managing one more run, thanks to Trevor Story's single, our closer nailed it down, securing this 4-2 victory for the Braves. 💪

Let's keep this winning streak alive! 🥳 Go Braves! 🔵⚪🔴
