Braves Comeback Win in Denver!
What a game it was for our Atlanta Braves as they battled their way back to take a 6-3 victory against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field!
Turning the Tide in the 4th and 5th
The Braves started to chip away at the Rockies' lead in the 3rd inning. Thanks to singles by Alex Verdugo and Austin Riley, and a sacrifice fly by Marcell Ozuna, we narrowed the gap to 3-2. But it was in the 4th inning that we leveled things up. Infield singles by Eli White and Nick Allen provided the equalizer as Michael Harris II came charging home!
Capping Off the Win
We added an insurance run in the 7th inning. With smart base running and a clutch single by Sean Murphy, Matt Olson's walk became a run. Shoutout to our bullpen, who stood tall, shutting the door on any comeback hopes the Rockies had. Johnson and Hernández held firm through the 7th and 8th, while Iglesias brought it home in the 9th. The defense today was top-notch, and we rallied behind our pitchers to ensure our lead stayed safe.
A well-deserved win, Braves fans! Our boys showed grit, teamwork, and the winning spirit we love. On to the next one!
