Victory in New York!
The Atlanta Braves took on the New York Mets at Citi Field, and I am thrilled to report that our boys secured a solid 7-4 victory! It might have been a chilly evening in New York, but our Braves brought the heat! A Slow Start but a Big Finish
The game started off slow, with both teams struggling to get on the board. While Ronald Acuña Jr. and Matt Olson had a tough first inning, the rest of the lineup followed suit until the 4th inning, when the Mets pulled ahead with three runs. It was looking a bit grim for us, Braves fans, but these boys are never out without a fight! In the top of the 6th inning, we saw the tides begin to turn. Drake Baldwin, Ozzie Albies, and Alex Verdugo all contributed to putting our first run on the board. Then, things really got going with Eli White and Michael Harris II setting the stage for Nick Allen to even the score. Our bats were on fire! Matt Olson then delivered a clutch single to bring home two more runs, turning the score in our favor at 5-3!

Closing Out the Game with Style
By the 8th inning, the Braves were rolling. Matt Olson’s double to center scored Acuña Jr., and a crucial Austin Riley double pushed our advantage to 7-3. The Mets managed to grab one more in the 9th, but the sure hands of Raisel Iglesias sealed the deal for us, ensuring that victory flight back to Atlanta.Braves fans, let’s savor this win! It's wins like today that keep our hopes high. Onwards and upwards! Go Braves!
