Hey, Friar Faithful! What a game we had against the Atlanta Braves. Both teams came out swinging, but in the end, it was our San Diego Padres who secured the victory with a final score of 7-4. It was an exciting game from the top of the 1st all the way to the last out in the 9th! Our bats were lively, and we showed some impressive hustle on the base paths. The game started with a little bump as we allowed the Braves to get on the board first. But have no fear, Fernando Tatis Jr. stepped up with a single in the bottom of the 1st, setting the wheels in motion. Manny Machado and Jackson Merrill followed suit, with Merrill driving in two key runs, putting us ahead early.The Braves took a short-lived lead again, but in the bottom of the 3rd, a crucial RBI from Merrill leveled the score to 3-3. One of the turning points of the game was when we were behind 3-4, but don't ever count us out! In the 7th inning, Gavin Sheets pinch-hit and blasted a 405-foot home run! Such a clutch moment that sparked our incredible rally.
Stealing The Show with Hustle and Defense

The momentum was firmly on our side with Machado driving in more runs thanks to his killer double, and our bold base stealing didn't go unnoticed either. Manny Machado and Xander Bogaerts executed a cheeky double steal in the 7th. Our defensive lineup was equally stellar with crisp plays and focused pitching that held the Braves at just 4 runs by the end of the game.The bullpen, featuring Estrada, Peralta, and Adam, kept the Braves quiet through the crucial mid-game innings. And hats off to Robert Suarez for closing it out in the 9th with precision, securing the 7-4 win for the Padres.
