A Sluggish Start
The game began with a quiet first inning from our Baltimore Orioles. While Jackson Holliday, Jeremiah Jackson, and Gunnar Henderson stepped up to the plate, they found themselves quickly dispatched. Meanwhile, the White Sox managed to draw first blood after Curtis Mead singled to right, sending Mike Tauchman home. We wrapped up the first inning trailing 1-0.Steady As She Goes
The Orioles patiently chipped away in the top of the third inning. Samuel Basallo managed to work a walk following Coby Mayo's strikeout. Then, Jackson Holliday also expertly drew a walk, advancing Basallo to second. Our hero of the inning, Jeremiah Jackson, singled to center, letting Basallo score smoothly and leveling the score at 1-1 as the third inning closed!Taking the Lead with a Bang!
The top of the sixth inning brought the fireworks we were eagerly waiting for! After Samuel Basallo singled with Coby Mayo on second base, it was Colton Cowser's turn to shine. The roar from the dugout was intense as Cowser cracked a tremendous homer to left center, driving in three runs and launching us into a commanding 4-1 lead!
Closing Out in Style
Our pitchers did a phenomenal job shutting the door in the last frames. The combined efforts of Strowd, Enns, and the rest of the bullpen delivered a stunning defensive display that kept the White Sox at bay. The game closed out with a 4-1 victory, reflecting the tenacity and perseverance of our beloved O's. Gratitude to each player's effort, and here's to keeping the momentum rolling! Let's Go O's!
