Solid Start for the Royals
Hey Royals fans, what an exciting game we had as we took on the Baltimore Orioles!
Starting the action in the bottom of the first inning, Bobby Witt Jr. reached base with an infield single and was brought home by a double from our very own Salvador Perez giving us the lead with 1-0. The second inning was a bit rocky when an uncharacteristic throwing error from Maikel Garcia saw the Orioles take the lead 2-1.
However, not to worry as the Royals showed heart and hustle. In the bottom of the fourth, Maikel Garcia redeemed himself with a clutch 2-RBI single allowing both Perez and Cavan Biggio to score, swinging the score back in our favor at 3-2. Great resilience from the team. 
Eighth Inning Explosion
If the earlier innings were tense nail-biters, the bottom of the eighth was an absolute thrill! The Royals exploded with five more runs to really put the game to bed. It all started with Mark Canha's double, followed by Garcia's crucial RBI double. Steals, hit-by-pitches, you name it, we did it. And finally, a superb 3-RBI single from Vinnie Pasquantino bringing himself, MJ Melendez, and Witt Jr. home to make it an overwhelming 8-2! Royals pitching sealed the deal with a spotless ninth inning to secure the win.
Great team effort all around, and kudos to our bullpen for not letting the Orioles come back in the later innings. It's truly a fantastic time to be a Royals fan! Let's keep this momentum going, Go Royals!
