Tough Loss in the Bronx for the Orioles
Hey fellow Orioles fans!
Early Inning Troubles
We got off to a shaky start when Giancarlo Stanton hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the 1st inning, putting us down early. Our guys were looking to respond, but heading into the top of the second, Tyler O'Neill and Dylan Beavers both flied out, and Adley Rutschman struck out swinging.Westburg's Heroics
However, things started looking up in the 3rd inning. Coby Mayo managed a single, followed by Jackson Holliday drawing a walk. Then came the moment of glory: Jordan Westburg hit a massive three-run homer
But the Yankees answered back harshly with Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton both hitting home runs, making the score 6-3 by the end of the 3rd inning.
Late-Game Attempts
Tyler O'Neill managed to hit a solo home run in the 6th inning, but throughout the rest of the game, our guys just couldn't capitalize on offensive opportunities. The Yankees added two more runs between the 6th and 7th innings, reaching the final score of 8-4.The bullpen was called in to try and keep the game within reach, with Canó, Castillo, and others stepping in. Despite their efforts, the Yankees ultimately held us at bay.

On to the Next!
While taking on the Yankees is always a challenge, let's not lose heart, O's fans!
