Game Recap: A Tough Night in Toronto
Last night was a challenging outing for our beloved Baltimore Orioles against the Toronto Blue Jays. Despite a promising start, the Blue Jays capitalized on every opportunity, leaving us with an 11-2 defeat.

Bright Spot: Mayo's Mighty Swing
One of the highlights was definitely Coby Mayo's solo homer in the top of the second inning, which electrified those watching with its distance and precision. Seeing that ball soar over the fence was a beautiful sight and reminded us of the power that Mayo brings to the plate. Colton Cowser also added a homer to left center in the seventh inning, delivering a glimmer of hope and making sure the Orioles' presence was felt.
Toronto's Commanding Push
Despite our early efforts, the Blue Jays came roaring back, equalizing the score at 1-1 by the third inning and continuing to build momentum. George Springer and Addison Barger were particularly instrumental for the Jays, driving in crucial runs. The Blue Jays unleashed a flurry in the seventh inning, piling on the runs with relentless offense. Toronto’s ability to seize the moment ultimately widened the lead, leaving Little Room for us to counterattack.
Looking Ahead
While last night's game might not have gone our way, it's crucial that we stick by our team through thick and thin. The Orioles have shown they can bounce back after tough losses, and we’re optimistic about the upcoming games. Let's keep rallying behind them and look forward to sunnier skies and better scoreboards.
