Tough Loss at Home
Fellow Nationals fans, last night's game against the Orioles was a nail-biter and, unfortunately, we came up just short, losing 2-1. Although our Washington Nationals fought hard, those pesky Orioles managed to get the win. Let's dive into the game's play-by-play and see how it all unfolded.

Nationals Take the Lead Early
Starting strong in the bottom of the 2nd inning, Amed Rosario delivered a double to center field. It didn't take long for Josh Bell to step up and hit a single that brought Rosario home, putting us up 1-0!

Orioles Turn the Tide
By the 5th inning, we hoped to maintain our lead, but the Orioles found their rhythm. Ramon Laureano kicked things off with a double to left. With only one out, Ryan O'Hearn singled, allowing Laureano to score and tie the game at 1-1. Our defense tried to rally, but another single by Cedric Mullins pushed O'Hearn across the plate. The scoreboard shifted in favor of Baltimore, 2-1.

A Fight Until the End
Throughout the rest of the game, our guys tried their best to overcome the deficit. Even with Keibert Ruiz reaching base in the 9th inning and Nasim Nuñez's courageous efforts stealing second, it wasn't enough to top the Orioles' pitching. Their bullpen closed the game, leaving us with a bitter 2-1 loss.

Fellow Nats fans, it was a hard-fought game, and we're proud of how our team played despite the loss. Let's keep supporting our players and look forward to seeing them back in action soon!
