Tough Loss for the D-backs
Hey fellow D-backs fans!

Early Lead and Hopes
We started off well, with Blaze Alexander putting us on the board in the bottom of the second inning by driving in Gabriel Moreno with a single. Afterwards, our own speedster Corbin Carroll utilized his quick feet to steal third and scored on a wild pitch in the fourth inning. By the end of the fourth, we were up 2-1 against the Red Sox.
Gabriel Moreno again lifted our spirits with a fantastic double in the sixth inning, bringing Corbin Carroll home to make it 3-1. Things were looking good for us D-backs fans.

Red Sox Rally and Our Unfortunate Errors
The tide started turning in the top of the seventh inning. The Red Sox capitalized with Trevor Story scoring on a single by David Hamilton. We witnessed some unfortunate errors which allowed Boston to take the lead 4-3 by the middle of the seventh inning. Yet, our guys didn’t give up! Jordan Lawlar singled to tie the game at 4-4. It was anybody’s game at that point.
A Disappointing Finish
In the top of the ninth inning, Nick Sogard’s double put the Red Sox up 6-4, and then Carlos Narváez cemented the lead with a single to make it 7-4. It was a bummer to see our offense struggle against Aroldis Chapman in the bottom of the ninth as the strikeouts piled up, effectively closing out the game.
While it wasn't the outcome we hoped for, there were some positive moments to build on. Corbin Carroll and Gabriel Moreno showed great skill on the bases and at the plate, and Blaze Alexander came through early in the game. On to the next one, Diamondbacks fans - we'll get 'em next time!
