What a Game!

Tigers fans, we did it! 🎉 In an absolutely thrilling matchup against the Boston Red Sox, our boys came out on top with a hard-fought 10-9 victory. It's games like these that remind us why we love baseball! Let's dive into the action and relive the key moments.

Early Innings Battle

The game started with some rock-solid defensive plays and pitching from both teams. Riley Greene got us on the board first with a clutch single to bring Kerry Carpenter home. Spencer Torkelson and Javier Báez both went deep with solo shots in the 4th and 6th innings, respectively, to keep the momentum going. 🚀 Throughout the first few innings, our pitching staff did a great job keeping their powerful lineup in check.

Late Innings Drama

Things got a bit tense as the Red Sox came roaring back to tie it up. However, Javier Báez wasn't going to let this slip away. In the 6th, he launched a monster 3-run homer after a wild pitch to put us back in the lead, making it 6-4. But Boston wasn’t done yet, tying things up in the 8th and forcing extra innings.

Walking Off in Style

Fast forward to the bottom of the 11th, we were down 9-7 after a clutch home run by Boston's Kristian Campbell. But no fear, Dillon Dingler reached third, and Jace Jung kept the inning alive with a single. That's when Javier Báez came through again with another home run, driving in three runs and leading us to a fantastic 10-9 walk-off win! 🎆💪

Final Thoughts

With contributions all around the field today, the Tigers showed resilience and passion. Hats off to Javier Báez for his incredible performance, and to all our guys who fought till the very end. Keep that spirit going! Onward and upward, Tigers fans! ⚾🐯
