This pivotal moment tied the game up 1-1 in the 4th inning, laying the groundwork for Rafael Devers to follow with a towering 440-foot home run in the 6th inning. The Devers' blast brought home Jarren Duran and put the Sox ahead 3-1. What a display of power from our mighty hitters!

The pitching unit deserves immense credit for keeping the Royals' lineup to just one run, with our relievers delivering lights-out performances. From Giolito overcoming an early hiccup to Chapman shutting the door on Kansas City's final attempts in the 9th inning, our defense was sharp as a tack throughout the game.
