The initial innings were a true nail-biter as both teams defended fiercely. In the first inning, William Contreras and Isaac Collins managed singles, but we still couldn't score. While the Cubs remained quiet, the Brewers showcased our solid defense. Rhys Hoskins showed his hustle with a stellar play in the second inning, despite a little interference hiccup.The Magic of the 6th Inning 
The game-changing action unfolded in the bottom of the 6th inning. After an intense back-and-forth, Jackson Chourio managed to score thanks to a wild pitch by Merryweather! 
Shortly after, Daz Cameron strode to the plate and delivered a powerful single to center, bringing in Christian Yelich. But the magic didn't end there! Caleb Durbin, with an electrifying double, sent both Cameron and Hoskins home, bringing the score to 4-0!

Our pitchers were phenomenal tonight! Koenig and Uribe did an amazing job, keeping the Cubs at bay. The 9th inning saw a moment of tension with two Cubs on base, but Trevor Megill closed the game with two crucial strikeouts. What a game, Brewers!
