Brewing Up a Win in the First Inning

🎉 What a start for our Milwaukee Brewers! In the bottom of the 1st, William Contreras made it look easy with a homer to left center, putting us up on the board early with a score of 1-0! 🚀 Our pitching was on point too, with the Cubs going down quickly in the top half of the inning. The early lead had American Family Field buzzing with excitement! 🏟️

Defense Holds Strong!

Despite a homer by the Cubs' Seiya Suzuki in the top of the 2nd tying the game, our Brewers didn't let it shake them! In the bottom of the 4th inning, Andrew Vaughn flexed his muscles with a bomb to left field, regaining the lead for us at 2-1! 💪 A key moment came as Caleb Durbin showed some hustle with a single to center and advancing on a fielding error, putting pressure on the Cubs’ defense. However, we couldn’t add more, keeping the game tight. ⚾

Turang Dominates, Securing Victory

The 7th inning brought our insurance run 🎯 when Brice Turang blasted a homer to center, extending our lead to 3-1, much to the delight of the hometown crowd! Our pitchers kept the Cubs' bats quiet, especially with Julio Uribe closing the door in the 8th and 9th innings. When the Cubs tried to rally, our defense stood tall, refusing to let them back into the game. The final score stood proudly at 3-1 in favor of our Brew Crew! 🍺🔥

It's always a good day when the Brewers triumph over the Cubs, and this win keeps our spirits high as we continue the season chase. Let's celebrate this sweet victory and keep the momentum going for another great game tomorrow! Go Brewers! 🧢💙
