Fellow Giants fans, tonight's game against the Cubs was a showcase of our team’s grit and determination as they clawed their way to a well-deserved 4-2 victory! After some suspenseful innings, the Giants truly pulled through when it mattered most. Our pitching rotation was solid and didn’t give an inch to the Cubs’ lineup. Let's dive into the game's highlights!Defense and Pitching Dominate
Our defense was on point from the start, with players like Luis Arraez, Matt Chapman, and Willy Adames making crucial plays to keep the Cubs at bay. The pitcher carousel kept the Cubs' hitters guessing, with Seymour, Beck, and Bivens setting the pace. Special mention to W. Ramos for holding his nerve during a tense 7th inning, even with a wild pitch, and Bednar shutting it down in the 8th with some clutch outs.Key Offensive Plays 
Giants’ offense came alive in pivotal moments! Will Brennan opened our scoring in the 2nd inning with a sharp RBI single that brought Jung Hoo Lee home. The 5th inning was the turning point as Adames and Rafael Devers both took advantage of scoring opportunities, widening our lead to 3-0. While the Cubs tried to rally late, Casey Schmitt's heroic play in the 7th put the game further out of reach, securing a crucial insurance run. Closing the Game 
Heading into the final stretch, Bertrand held onto the lead despite some pressure and a number of walks. The game ended on a spectacular double play, thanks to our excellent infield coordination. Tonight, the Giants demonstrated resilience, skill, and a deep bench ready to maintain their winning momentum. Go Giants!
