Missed Opportunities in Cincinnati
Hey Reds fans!
Our boys fell short to the White Sox, losing 4-2. Despite the scoreline, the game was full of promise and some exciting moments for us.White Sox Edge Ahead Early
The first few innings were rough on us. In the second inning, a double from the White Sox's Vaughn brought Robert Jr. home, giving them an early lead.
Our lineup struggled against their pitching, and we couldn't quite get on the board initially. Even though Gavin Lux started strong with a single and Spencer Steer added a double in the second, we couldn't capitalize on those hits. The 6th and 7th innings didn't help, as Sosa and Taylor each hit homers for the Sox, pushing their lead to four.
But then, thankfully, our moment of magic came thanks to Spencer Steer, who launched a beautiful homer to get us on the board in the seventh—the crowd went wild! 
Followed by some hustle from Jose Trevino and a double by Austin Hays in the 8th, which finally brought Elly De La Cruz home, cutting down their lead to two runs!Ultimate Showdown
With our chance to rally in the 9th inning, it looked like we might stage a famous victory. Will Benson gave us some hope with a walk, but hits from our next guys fell short. Despite putting up a good fight, we just couldn't close the gap and fell 4-2.Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the team!
Let's keep pushing, and hopefully, the bats will heat up in the next one!
