A Thrilling Victory at Kauffman Stadium!
What a nail-biter, Royals fans!
Early Innings: Defensive Duel
The game started as a pitcher’s duel, with both teams unable to get on the board through the first four innings. Maikel Garcia had an early single in the 1st inning and a double in the 3rd, but unfortunately, both times he was left stranded. Vinnie Pasquantino and Michael Massey provided some spark with singles in the 4th inning, yet the Royals couldn't convert these chances to runs. The air was tense as both teams battled for supremacy on the field.Witt Jr. Delivers a Historic Swing
In the bottom of the 5th inning, it was time for the magic moment we've been waiting for. Luke Maile started the inning off with a single. Then, fans erupted with joy as Bobby Witt Jr. smashed a towering two-run homer to left-center, sending Maile across home plate for a 2-0 Royals lead!

Holding Strong to Seal the Win
Our bullpen showcased fantastic resilience as they fended off the White Sox in the late innings. Despite Miguel Vargas's double and Luis Robert Jr.'s RBI single that brought the score to 2-1 in the top of the 9th, Rojas struck out swinging to end the game. It was heart-stopping until the very last pitch—but our Royals emerged victorious!
Congratulations to all the players for their hard-fought effort and to Witt Jr. for that sensational home run! Let’s keep this momentum going, Royals fans. See you at the next game!
