Our Cincinnati Reds showed what they're made of, defeating the Chicago Cubs 5-1 at Wrigley Field. Every game against the Cubs is exciting, and this one surely didn't disappoint with its electrifying moments. Let's break down this spectacular win!Offensive Highlights
Our lineup was relatively quiet early on, with both teams staying scoreless through much of the game. But it was the 5th inning when our bats finally came to life! Miguel Andujar opened the scoring with a brilliant ground rule double that set the stage. Spencer Steer followed up with a clutch single, sending Andujar home and putting the first run on the board.The real fireworks came in the 7th inning. Spencer Steer was on fire again, belting a massive three-run homer to give us a comfortable lead. This was the momentum shift we needed. Noelvi Marte and Jose Trevino also contributed superbly, with Marte hammering a ground rule double and Trevino executing a precise single that allowed Marte to progress to third.

Our pitching staff deserves a standing ovation!
Zach Littell held the fort firmly until the 5th inning, allowing only one run via a home run by Matt Shaw. Graham Ashcraft and Sam Moll teamed up in the 8th to quash any hopes the Cubs might have harbored.
