Starting with a nail-biting first couple of innings where neither team scored, the game was packed with suspense. Our pitching was on point today! Shohei Ohtani might have been a little shaky with a couple of wild pitches, but his strikeouts kept the Reds in check. Not to forget that our relievers kept the Cincinnati bats quiet with clutch strikeouts, leaving the Reds stranded in several key moments.
Explosive Offense Ignited by Dodgers' Stars
And speaking of clutch, let’s talk about the explosive 4th inning! With bases loaded, Enrique Hernandez came through, driving in the first two runs with a clean single. Then, Dalton Rushing further extended our lead with a fantastic two-run single that got the entire stadium roaring! But that’s not all – in the 8th inning, Michael Conforto delivered the icing on the cake with an incredible 419-foot solo home run to right center field. Absolutely electrifying!

With the top of the 9th upon us, Blake Treinen took the mound to close things out. Despite some Reds players reaching base on fielder's indifference, Treinen struck out three batters, including finishing off with a sneaky strikeout looking against Elly De La Cruz. What a way to seal the deal!
