O's Start with a Bang

What a fantastic game for our Baltimore Orioles! Starting off the first inning, Gunnar Henderson wasted no time and smashed a homer to left center, giving us an early 1-0 lead. 🏠 It's always exciting to set the pace early, and Henderson did just that!

Guardians’ Response and Orioles' Stunning Return

The Guardians did manage a quick comeback with two homers in the third inning. With Daniel Schneemann and Austin Hedges each hitting solo home runs, they took a slight 2-1 lead. But our O's didn't let that rattle them. In the bottom of the same inning, Ryan O'Hearn delivered a huge homer to center field, scoring Henderson and Adley Rutschman. What a moment! With that, we regained our lead, making it 4-2. 🎉

Solid Defense and Another Boom

Our defense through the next innings was impeccable. The Guardians struggled against our pitching team with precision plays. Heston Kjerstad joined the homerun party in the sixth inning, firing a 400-foot bomb to right center, further sealing the victory with a two-run increase making it 6-2. Our pitching team kept the Guardians under control, and they did a tremendous job of shutting them out through the remainder of the game. đź’Ş

Securing the Win

Through the efforts of our bullpen, including appearances by Laureano, Kjerstad, and closing with Bautista, the Guardians couldn’t recover. The game ended with us on top at 6-2, proving once again that our O’s have the strength and skill to challenge any team. What a victory! It’s always a joy to watch our boys in orange showcase their talent on the field. Onward and upward, Orioles! 🧡⚾️
