Fantastic First Inning
Great start, Tigers fans!
Our boys jumped right out of the gate, putting a solid 3 runs on the board in the very first inning. Kerry Carpenter got us going with a double, and Colt Keith and Matt Vierling made sure we took advantage of it. Hopefully, our hot start spells a great day at the plate!Guardians Chipping Away
Things got a bit tense as the game went on. The Guardians slowly chipped away at our lead, partly due to Bo Naylor sneaking one over the fence. Despite a valiant effort from our pitchers, the Guardians managed to pull themselves back into the game. Our bats went quiet for too long, allowing them to claw the score back to a tie.Extra Innings Heartbreaker
Sadly, the game slipped away from us in the 10th inning. Kyle Manzardo and Angel Martínez’s hits unglued our hopes as the Guardians piled on four more runs. Though Gleyber Torres gave us a spark with his 2-RBI double in the bottom half of the 10th, it just wasn't enough to catch up. Final score 7-5, but our team showed grit and determination. Let's bounce back next game!
