A Dominant Start for the Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers roared to an early lead against the Cleveland Guardians, scoring 6 runs in the 1st inning. Shohei Ohtani walked to start things off, followed by a powerful homer to left by Tommy Edman that brought both him and Ohtani home. 🏃‍♂️💨 Max Muncy's double added two more to the scoreboard, with Will Smith and Enrique Hernández crossing the plate. The bases kept churning with walks, and before we knew it, the Dodgers were sitting comfortably with a 6-0 lead.

Building on the Lead

The Dodgers continued to capitalize on their early momentum, extending their lead through savvy plays and well-timed hits. In the 2nd inning, Andy Pages delivered a clutch single to left, driving in both Hernández cousins while advancing Muncy to third. The Dodgers were in high spirits with an 8-0 lead through two innings. The 3rd inning saw Enrique Hernández's bat stay hot, allowing another run to cross the plate for a stunning 9-0 lead.

Guardians Strike Back but Dodgers Hold Strong

The Dodgers allowed the Guardians to score in the middle innings, with run production from several key plays for Cleveland. However, David Bote and Eddie Rosario kept our momentum strong, allowing Michael Chavis to make a run on a sacrifice fly in the 5th, widening the gap to a 10-0 lead. The Guardians managed to scrape some runs, yet the Dodgers’ defense held firm, closing the game at 10-4.

The Dodgers' Victory Lap

What a game! 🔥 The Dodgers delivered a dominant performance from the start, with every player contributing to the shutout. Excellent pitching, a few notable fielding plays, and a great showing at the plate—particularly by our stars like Tommy Edman, Max Muncy, and Enrique Hernández—ensured that our boys took this one home with ease. Go Dodgers! 💙⚾
