Our Cleveland Guardians played an exhilarating game against the Pittsburgh Pirates and walked away with an intense 5-4 victory in extra innings!
The action kicked off with a powerful performance by Steven Kwan who hit a two-run homer in the third inning, driving in Brayan Rocchio. What a way to light up the scoreboard and take an early lead! 
Defensive Resilience and Pitching Prowess
Through the middle innings, our pitching staff showed spectacular resilience. Despite some base hits from the Pirates, our pitchers held steady with crucial outs. A special shoutout goes to Sewald, who came in with ice in his veins and worked out of a jam in the 6th inning, taming the Pirates' first run with a sharp performance.
Manzardo's Magic and Extra-Inning Drama
With the score at 2-1, Kyle Manzardo came through with a sensational two-run homer in the 7th, lengthening our lead to 4-1!
The Pirates made a late comeback in the bottom of the 9th, tying the game at 4-4. But our Guardians didn't back down. In the top of the 10th, a sacrifice fly from Manzardo brought Jhonkensy Noel home for the winning run. Cantillo sealed the deal with a clutch performance in the bottom of the 10th to secure our victory. A rollercoaster of emotions and an unforgettable win!
