Rock-solid Performance by the Rockies! 🎉

What a game! Our beloved Colorado Rockies absolutely crushed it against the Atlanta Braves with an emphatic 10-1 victory! The starting innings went slow, with no runs from either side until the third, but everything changed in the seventh. 💪⚾️ Kudos to the boys for holding it down and dominating the game!

Game Highlights

Things started at a sluggish pace with both teams striking out quite a bit. However, our very own Ryan Ritter capitalized on a throwing error by the Braves' pitcher in the 3rd, setting the stage for Braxton Fulford’s sacrifice fly to bring him home and put us on the board first! 🙌 Game on!

Come the 6th inning, the Braves briefly levelled the score. But then, Ryan McMahon delivered a stunner, homering to center, setting off our scoring spree in the next inning. His 7th inning homer was just the spark we needed! 🏏🔥

From there, our bats and the Braves’ poor defense took over. Braxton Fulford and Jordan Beck each drove in multiple runs, turning the game on its head in a brilliant team effort. Fulford even added a triple in the 8th, keeping their momentum alive! What started as a nail-biter ended up being a comfortable cruise to victory. 🎊

Pitching Efforts

Another commendable effort was from the Rockies’ pitchers who held the powerhouse Braves to just a single run! Austin Gomber and the bullpen did a fantastic job containing the Braves’ mighty lineup. Our bullpen, led by Bird, Kinley, and closed out by Mejia, nullified any comeback attempts with ease! 🚫

Kudos to our team for playing an outstanding game. Time to celebrate this remarkable victory and keep this spirit as we continue the season! 🎈💜

Let's go Rockies! 🎉🌟
