Rockies Start Strong 
The Colorado Rockies came out swinging from the get-go. Brenton Doyle set the stage with a walk in the first inning, followed by a wild pitch that advanced him to second. It was Hunter Goodman who got us on the board with a clutch single, bringing Doyle home. That was the start we needed! However, the Royals answered back immediately, taking a 2-1 lead by the end of the first inning. Power Up with Homers 
In the second inning, Jordan Beck delivered a moment of magic with a massive 419-foot homer to left, leveling the score at 2-2. And then, in the third inning, Hunter Goodman was at it again! With Ryan McMahon on base, Goodman launched a 361-foot homer to left field, putting the Rockies ahead 4-2. It's always thrilling to see that kind of power from our team!Defense Falters, Royals Take Control 
Unfortunately, the Rockies couldn’t hold the lead. The game turned sour in the 5th inning when the Royals took advantage of our defensive lapses, and a series of critical hits and plays resulted in two runs scored. By the middle of the 5th, we were trailing 6-4. The Royals added another run in the 7th, extending their lead to 7-4. Rockies Fight to the Finish 
Despite our best efforts to rally, Kansas City’s pitchers shut down our lineup from the 6th inning onward. The bottom of our batting order just couldn't find the spark needed to ignite a last-minute comeback. The Royals’ defense was steady, closing the door on any Rockies’ hopes with tough plays. It wasn't the outcome we wanted, but you have to give credit to Goodman and Beck for their stellar performances today. On to the Next Game 
While today's 7-4 loss to the Royals stings, let’s keep our heads up! There are plenty more games and opportunities to shine. With talents like Hunter Goodman and Jordan Beck showing such promise, the future looks bright. Bring on the next challenge, Rockies! Let's get back to winning ways soon!
