Hey Dodgers Nation! What a game at home against the Colorado Rockies. It was a slow start, but our boys pulled through with a clutch win, 3-1. This game kept us on the edge of our seats until the very end!Rockies Strike First
The Rockies got on the board early with a sacrifice fly in the second inning. Jordan Beck's speed put them ahead, but the Dodgers' defense was rock solid after that, refusing to let the Rockies increase their lead.Freddie's Double Levels the Playing Field
The first five innings proved a struggle for our bats, but Freddie Freeman came in clutch with a booming double to right center in the 6th inning, bringing Ben Rortvedt home to tie the game. That hit brought life back into the stands and got the Dodgers rolling!
Mookie and Ohtani Steal the Show
The defining moment came in the 7th inning when Shohei Ohtani doubled, and magic man Mookie Betts singled to bring in Ohtani and Andy Pages to take the lead 3-1. That was all we needed—the Dodgers bullpen closed it out, ensuring the Rockies didn't get another chance to respond.
Locking It Down to Stay on Top
Credit to Blake Treinen and Scott Barlow for coming in and shutting the Rockies down in the final innings.
