Heartbreak at Dodger Stadium
It was a nail-biter at Dodger Stadium today as our beloved Colorado Rockies took on the Los Angeles Dodgers. Jordan Beck had us off to a promising start by scoring the game's first run in the 2nd inning, stealing second after a walk and coming home on a sacrifice fly by Kyle Farmer. But as the innings unfolded, it just wasn't enough to keep the Dodgers at bay.Early Lead Anxieties
Our guys were striking and flying out, but let's talk about some positive moments. Ryan Ritter showed great hustle, reaching base twice and even stealing a base. Warming Bernabel and Mickey Moniak fought hard but unfortunately couldn’t find their rhythm against a solid Dodgers pitching lineup. Let’s not forget Tyler Freeman who showed quick thinking to line out in the 9th inning, dealing with pressure all around.

Loss in the Lucky 7th
The Dodgers mounted their comeback in the 7th inning. After a Shohei Ohtani double and a Mookie Betts single, two crucial runs crossed the plate, putting them ahead. Our pitcher changes, from Mejia to Chivilli to Hill, were spot on strategy-wise, but the Dodgers’ lineup proved resilient. We sure gave them a run for their money till the last pitch. It's hard not to feel that sense of "so close yet so far," but here's to fighting till the end!Keep your heads up, Rockies Nation! We'll get them next time!
