A Rocky Start for the Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers had us on the edge of our seats right from the first inning against the Rockies. It was a shaky start, as the Rockies jumped ahead 2-0 thanks to some crucial singles and a sacrifice fly. But like any true fan knows, the Brewers are never one to back down!

Brewers Turn the Tables in the 2nd! 🎉

In the bottom of the 2nd, the magic began! Jake Bauers got on base with a walk, advanced on a wild pitch, and then it happened – David Hamilton launched a 431-foot homer to right center, bringing both Bauers and Brandon Lockridge, who also walked, home. Suddenly, the Brewers were up 3-2! It got even better when Joey Ortiz reached on an infield single, thanks to a Rockies' error, allowing Sal Frelick to reach third, and then score on that same play. Brewers were looking solid at 4-2!

Brewers Cement Lead in the 5th and 8th 🔥

The 5th inning added to the excitement. Joey Ortiz hit a home run, and then Jake Bauers hit a double allowing Christian Yelich to score, making it 6-2. And by the way, Brandon Lockridge dashed any Rockies' hope with a solo homer in the 8th to make it 8-3! The Rockies managed one more run in the 9th, but it was too late for a comeback.

Brewers' Victory! 🎊

With an ending score of 8-4, our boys in blue showed resilience and grit on the field. From David Hamilton's heroic homer to Lockridge's big hit, the Brewers brought their A-game. This was a game that showcased some of the best of what Milwaukee baseball is all about! Way to go, Brewers! 🍻👏
