Rockies Secure 4-1 Victory Over Brewers
What a beautiful game for us Rockies fans! Nothing better than watching the team come through with a solid win against the Brewers. Let's break down how we soared to victory!
First Inning: Brewers Take an Early Lead
Despite a promising double from Charlie Blackmon in the top of the first inning, we couldn't push any runs across. The Brewers managed to score first thanks to a single from Hoskins, who brought William Contreras home after a critical error by our third baseman, Ryan McMahon. Not an ideal start, but our boys didn't let it shake them.
Second and Third Innings: Tensions and Ties
No action from either side in the second inning. But the top of the third brought the fire with Hunter Goodman blasting a solo homer to right center, tying the game 1-1!

Middle Innings: Rockies Take Control
The fourth inning almost saw us take the lead, but the action truly struck in the fifth inning. Ezequiel Tovar got things rolling with a double, and after some tense moments, Sam Hilliard crushed a three-run homer! Michael Toglia and Brendan Rodgers also scored, giving us a comfortable 4-1 lead. Cheers all around!
Solid Defense and Pitching Seals the Deal
Shoutout to our pitching crew, who were lights out from the third inning onward. The Brewers couldn't catch a break with our guys denying them at every turn. Special credit to our relievers who kept cool heads – Halvorsen, Chivilli, and Kinley did a phenomenal job. Final Thoughts and Highlights
An all-around great game! Key highlights worth mentioning:- Charlie Blackmon staying hot with multiple hits
- Hunter Goodman's solo homer
- Sam Hilliard's crucial three-run shot
The Rockies displayed excellent teamwork and resilience today. This win definitely sets a positive tone moving forward. Let's keep this momentum – Go Rockies!
