Tough Loss for the Athletics
Unfortunately, our beloved Oakland Athletics fell short today against the Colorado Rockies with a final score of 11-6.
Despite the scoreboard, there were some moments that made us proud and optimistic about the future.Max Muncy and Cade Marlowe Shine Bright
Max Muncy brought the heat early with an RBI single that got us on the board in the first inning, sending Shea Langeliers home after his double to right.
Not to be outdone, Cade Marlowe added a spark with a solo homer in the 6th inning, showing off the power and resilience of our lineup. 
A Real Nail-Biter of a Seventh Inning
The highlight of the game was undoubtedly the 7th inning, when the team almost mounted a comeback. Euribiel Angeles reached base, setting up Drew Swift to shine with an RBI single. The defining moment came as Colby Thomas knocked a double to bring in two more runs, narrowing the gap to 8-5. What a thrilling part of the game!
Closing Out with Spirit
While the Rockies continued to increase their lead in the 9th, Euribiel Angeles made another impact, scoring thanks to a hit from Colby Thomas, bringing our final score to 6. Despite the loss, the players never gave up, and that fighting spirit is a testament to the heart of our team. Way to go, A's!
