Thrilling Comeback Victory!
What a game, Cardinals fans!
Solid Start with Strong Pitching
The game started off fairly quiet, thanks to some airtight pitching and defense from both teams. Our guys in red held the Rockies at bay with nothing allowed in the early innings. Our defense looked solid, with pitcher Miles Mikolas helping us navigate through the opposing lineup without giving up any hits or runs early on. Kudos to Victor Scott II for hustling to steal second base after walking in the third inning and subsequently scoring our first run with a single slammed by Alec Burleson.

Rockies Try to Rally, But We Hold Strong
The Rockies managed to fight back in the seventh inning with runs scored via a couple of fumbles on our end. They briefly took the lead, but it wasn’t long before the Cardinals charged right back! James Naile helped keep the score in check during a tough spot while Leahy effectively relieved Mikolas to round off their assault.
Donovan Seals It in the Eighth!
The highlight of the game was undoubtedly Brendan Donovan coming up big in the eighth inning. His clutch double brought home the tying and winning runs, giving us the lead at a crucial moment. Garrett Hampson pinch-ran smoothly to prove the doubters wrong, sliding home to beat a close tag at the plate
Perfect Finish with Defense on Point
The final inning was nerve-wracking, to say the least, with the Rockies threatening to make a comeback. Luckily, our defense, including swift catches in the outfield from Garrett Hampson, kept the Rockies grounded, thus sealing the victory for us. This was a team effort through and through, and it's games like these that make us proud to be Cardinals fans!

Kudos to everyone for watching and supporting the team! Looking forward to more wins and unforgettable moments this season. Let’s go, Cards!
