Game Recap
Well, it wasn't the day we hoped for at Camden Yards, as the Orioles fell to the Tigers 4-1.
The game started with a promising hold by our pitchers in the first inning, as both sides couldn't get on the score sheet. Jordan Westburg, Adley Rutschman, and Gunnar Henderson had attempts to get something going in the bottom but couldn't meet the mark this time.4th Inning Woes
By the 4th inning, the Tigers had broken through. Dillon Dingler homered to center, placing Detroit on the scoreboard. Unfortunately, it didn't stop there; Parker Meadows followed up with a three-run homer, which really widened the gap and sent our Orioles into catch-up mode. It was tough to see our guys fall behind, but you could feel the atmosphere hope for a comeback.A Silver Lining
Dylan Carlson stepped up to the plate in the 8th inning and delivered a beautiful homered shot to right center, bringing the O's a much-needed run!
Going into the 9th inning, there was still a sliver of hope, but the Tigers' bullpen was formidable, and our bats fell silent.Final Thoughts
Despite the final score, as Orioles fans, we know there's always the next game. Keep your heads up, O's Nation! It's been a tough run with the Tigers today, but tomorrow is a new day, and you can guarantee there'll be plenty more thrilling moments to come at Camden Yards.
