Tigers Take the W in Cleveland! 
Wow, what a game for the Detroit Tigers! We faced the Cleveland Guardians, and it was a nail-biter that ended with a hard-fought 1-0 victory. It was a classic pitching duel, but our very own Spencer Torkelson provided the much-needed spark in the 2nd inning with a monster home run to right center, measuring 386 feet! 
#BlessYouBoysImpressive Pitching Performances 
Our pitching crew was absolutely electric today. We managed to keep the Guardians scoreless, and a big shoutout goes to Casey Mize, Kyle Hurter, and Tommy Kahnle for silencing the Guardians' bats. Each of them played a huge role in our defensive stand. Kudos to the defense too, who were like a brick wall that the Guardians just couldn't penetrate. Every time the Guardians got a little momentum, our guys shut them down. 
Close Calls and Nervous Moments 
The last few innings were tense, to say the least. In the top of the 9th, Jake Rogers fouled out, leaving hopes for an extra insurance run unfulfilled. And in the bottom of the 9th, as the tension rose, Kahnle kept his composure and secured the save with a clutch strikeout to finish the game! It was an edge-of-the-seat thriller, but our boys in blue and orange emerged victorious.
