Tough Game for the Tigers

Well, fellow Tigers fans, it was a tough night in Cleveland as we faced off against the Guardians. Despite a valiant effort, we ended up on the wrong side of a 7-3 scoreline. After starting off with a lot of promise, including a single run in the 5th inning from Kerry Carpenter's clutch hit, it was the Guardians who capitalized on their opportunities big time.

Promising Moments for the Tigers

There were bright spots, though! Parker Meadows hit a beautiful double in the 2nd inning and showed his speed by stealing third. Not to mention Spencer Torkelson, who had a solid night, doubling twice in the game and eventually scoring a run thanks to Jake Rogers's single. We saw some strategic hustle from Colt Keith as well, who brought in a run in the 7th inning after Riley Greene’s single.

Guardians' Big Fifth Inning

Unfortunately, the 5th inning saw us being overwhelmed by a grand slam from Lane Thomas. The Guardians brought in a total of five runs that inning and it overshadowed our earlier lead. Boys like Alex Lange, Will Vest and Tyler Holton did their best on the mound, but couldn't hold back the Guardians' offensive onslaught.

As we keep cheering and hope for better luck in our next game, let's remember these positive takeaways and continue supporting the boys! ⚾️ Go Tigers! 🐯
