Tigers Start Strong

🐯 Exciting game, fellow Tigers fans! The action kicked off in the top of the 1st inning with a bang! After Parker Meadows flied out and Gleyber Torres grounded out, it looked like we might have a slow start. But then, the ever-reliable Kerry Carpenter singled to right and took second on an error. That's when Spencer Torkelson stepped up and sent Carpenter home with a glorious single to left. With that early run, we took a 1-0 lead against the Guardians! 💪

Pitchers Dominate and Tigers Break the Tie

The middle innings were all about the pitchers showing off, with both teams struggling to get hits. But our guys kept battling! Into the 7th inning, Riley Greene doubled to right, and it looked like our patience would pay off. And it did! Thanks to some aggressive base running and a strategic sacrifice bunt from Zach McKinstry, Greene dashed home to give us a 2-1 lead.

Tigers Seal the Win

🧹 Our bullpen held firm under pressure! Despite some tense moments, like the bottom of the 9th when Jose Ramirez reached third on an error by Javier Baez, our Tigers stayed strong. George Valera went down swinging, and then Kyle Manzardo grounded into a fielder's choice that saw Ramirez out at home. When CJ Kayfus flied out to shortstop, victory was ours! The Tigers edged out the Guardians with a 2-1 win, bringing smiles to all of us loyal fans! 🙌

A big shoutout to the Tigers for this thrilling win! Can't wait to see what they bring to the field in the next game! 🐅⚾
