Heartbreaker in Miami
Oh, Tigers fans, this one stings! Our boys traveled to Miami aiming to notch another win, but despite the valiant effort and some exciting moments, the Marlins nipped us at the post with a 6-4 win in the 11th inning. Despite the loss, there were some memorable moments worth cherishing.Momentum Swings and Big Swats
The game started off with a bit of back and forth, and Kerry Carpenter got us back on level terms in the 3rd inning with a fantastic two-run homer over right-center. It was a much-needed spark, and the offense seemed to click at times, with Spencer Torkelson and Wenceel Pérez also contributing significantly. Pérez hit a crucial double in the 11th to bring home a run, putting us ahead 4-3. However, the margin just wouldn't hold.Late Inning Drama
It was nail-biting right up to the end, and once again, Troy Johnston was a thorn in our side. After tying it up, his walk-off homer in the bottom of the 11th was truly crushing. Cheers to Riley Greene for getting into scoring position multiple times, and our relief pitchers who did their best under pressure. Alas, it was just not to be. Hats off to our team for showing resilience and making it a game to remember. Let's regroup and get back to winning ways! Go Tigers!
