Tough Battle against Detroit
As a die-hard Seattle Mariners fan, it's never easy to see our team fall short, especially in a tight game like this one against the Detroit Tigers. Our boys put up a valiant fight, but the Tigers edged us out 3-2 after 11 grueling innings. The Home Run Kings
One of the highlights of the game for us was seeing our star, Julio Rodríguez, shine with an incredible 413-foot home run!
A Late-Inning Heartbreaker
It was a tense atmosphere during the extra innings, with the hopes of Mariners fans hanging on every pitch. Our bullpen held up pretty well, including a solid performance from Matt Brash, but the Tigers managed to slip one through when Zach McKinstry singled in the top of the 11th inning, bringing home what turned out to be the winning run. Despite a gritty effort from our lineup, we just couldn’t replicate that magic in the bottom half.Looking Ahead
The Mariners fought hard, and while we didn't come out on top, you can't help but feel proud of the spirit and tenacity our team showed. Hopefully, we can build on this performance and bounce back in the next game. The passion from fellow fans at T-Mobile Park was palpable, and we’ll keep cheering on our beloved Mariners no matter the outcome. Go Mariners!
