A Dynamic Third Inning Turned the Game
What a game, Astros fans! The Astros Stay Strong Despite Orioles' Push
Things got tight again in the 4th inning. The Orioles managed to shorten our lead with a key hit from Alex Jackson and a solid double by Jeremiah Jackson, bringing the score to 4-3. But fear not! The amazing duo of Christian Walker and Jose Altuve responded in the 5th. Walker's majestic homer to left center added three more runs, restoring our four-run lead (7-3)!Astros Secure the Win with Late-game Hits
The Orioles tried to battle back, with home runs by Colton Cowser and Vimael Machín bringing them within one run, 7-6, by the 7th. But you gotta love our bullpen and the added push by pinch hitters. Enter Victor Caratini in the 8th with a clutch double driving in two runs, stretching the Astros’ lead to 9-6. Peña followed up with another double, scoring Jacob Melton (who came in as a pinch runner for Caratini) to give us a 10-6 lead.Closing Out the Win
Though the Orioles clawed back one more run with Machín's home run in the 8th, our guys kept their cool and closed it with a 10-7 final score. Bryan Abreu sealed the game striking out the side in the 9th after Lansenne Abreu came in to get Mountcastle on base but gave up nothing else. What a phenomenal show of teamwork and determination! This was a game to remember for all Astros fans!Great job, team! On to the next one!
